Active research at University College London (UCL), conducted alongside professional delivery work - sharpening the evidence base behind safer, inclusive street design.
Combining qualitative and quantitative observation methods to characterise conflict points in shared and non-motorised spaces - with practical implications for junction design, crossing geometry, signage, and active-travel infrastructure.
Findings feed directly into day-to-day scheme design - helping me question assumptions in junction layouts, school streets, cycle routes, and shared-surface treatments, and back up design decisions with documented evidence during stakeholder consultation and road safety audit.
